Pumpkin Party Week: Food and Drink

We are doing our best to make a distinction between our Pumpkin Party and any old Halloween party by focusing less on the actually “spooky” side and more on the warm harvest side of this time of year with just a splash of spooky (take it or leave it).

Initially we thought a pumpkin soup or warm chili would be that perfect cozy meal for a pumpkin party, but if we’re being realistic (and aren’t we always) soup ain’t really a crowd pleaser when kids are your crowd.  Perhaps keep the soup in mind for your adult guests and let’s do personal pan pumkin shaped pizzas for the kids!

The kids will have fun decorating AND devouring (food doubling as an activity, yay!)

Accented with some veggies:

and some fruit:

and your Pumpkin Party spread is coming right along!  Now to the real fun… the sweets:

those owl cupcakes are about as adorable as it comes and SO SIMPLE!!

For drinks we adore this pumpkin punch bowl and what better to go inside than this pumpkin punch recipe.

Once everyone is good and satisfied they’ll have all the energy in the world to tackle the activity ideas we’ll be talking about tomorrow so get back here for that.  If you haven’t entered to win a free digital “you print” invite good for any party in our shop please do so by leaving a comment on any post this week.  We’ll draw the winner on Friday.
