A couple Pirate games topped our list in terms of fun “things to do” at your next Pirate party including walk the plank and just dressing kids up and letting them be pirates on a make-shift pirate pallet ship:

But in our hunt for more pirate game domination we stumbled upon this article of 15 Unique Pirate Party Games and just had to plain give credit where credit was due.  AWESOME LIST!  Fun activities and fun names of activities like:

“Swab the Deck”

“Man Overboard”

“Cannonball Attack”

“X Marks the spot”

Check it out… get your ideas… thank us later ;) .

Here’s our favorite party favor ideas:

Have the birthday boy or girl write personalized thank you notes for their very own  message in a bottle.  If you really want to get saucy help them by burning the edges!  Either way, wrap them up with a red rubberband and stick them inside any milk bottle (recycled starbucks frap bottles work great).  You could also put red/black/yellow jellybeans at the bottom for an extra little touch.

Of course we also love the idea of dressing the kids up as Pirates (especially while partaking in the pirate party activities)… these same outfits make great party favors!

PIRATE SWEETS

AAAAAarrrrrgggghhhh you ready for some Pirate grub and grog ideas?

A couple silly, fun and just plain spot on fruit and veggie ideas for your next Pirate Party include:

paired these with as many different items as you can skewer and you’re off to a swashbucklin start!  How fun are these adorable little sword turned tooth picks we featured during Knights and Dragons Party week??

We figure both Knights and Pirates yield swords so this nifty idea was worth repeating and again, those veggie boats are a no-brainer!  ADORABLE!

Said sword skewers are playin double duty when your guests are getting all the sugar bugs out of there teeth thanks to this spread of sweets:

And for your pirate grog we are just dying over these shark shaped ice cubes (picture them floating in a blue punch!), while our polka dot straws in black can compliment  any drink of choice:

Our Pirate Party is one of our most popular and while we like to think it’s because it’s so darn adorable, we tend to think our old friend Jack Sparrow might have something to do with the pirate obsession currently overtaking many young lads:

None the less, we’ll hop on that popularity train and make a stop at Too Cute town:
