There’s plenty of owl crafts out there, and as we mentioned Monday, it never ceases to amaze us what joy this grumpy little bird brings kids!

We’ve sorted through the mayhem and narrowed things down to a few easy and fun activities/favors that stood out as our faves.

This DIY owl mask tutorial we’d recommend doing before your guests arrive so they can party in style (doubles as a favor) or for a simpler craft this paper template does the trick!  Adorable little felt owls are pint size fun and we couldn’t resist.  You can either pre-cut the pieces or if you have a pack of kids that can handle it, let them do the cutting.

If you’ve got a younger bunch of party goers these simple little hand print owls are TOO CUTE!  Again, plan on pre-cutting the shapes for the younger kiddos and let the older kiddos have at it!

Loving how all these crafts are things your guests can take home which brings me to some additional party favors:

These owl favor bags are so simple but somehow so cute and as for the owl pillow boxes… COME ON… love!  Fill those suckers with a couple sweet treats and you’re good to go.  Lastly, our thank you tags are a great addition whether you go for the more creative carrier or just use a simple party bag.

If you haven’t entered to win a digital “you print” invite good for any party in our shop yet, all you have to do is leave a comment on any post this week and you’re in!  Tomorrow we’ll be drawing the winner and posting our Owl Party Week inspiration board, you won’t want to miss it!

Owl Party Week continues and we’ve got a few owl-centric ways to bring this theme right into your party’s cuisine.  Rather than buffet style the entire event why not sit the kiddos down and serve these carefully crafted owl sandwiches while your adult guests munch on an owl cheese and crackers spread:

Sweet tooth cravings are cured with these brown owl cookiescolorful owl cookiessmores, cupcakes and more!

For drinks we pondered a couple options including an apple cider punch with adorable little cinnamon sticks (very “woodsie” dontcha think?) or chocolate milk to bring out the “brown” in the party decor and then it dawned on us…it’s these very situations where there isn’t really a drink option that fits perfectly that our water bottle wraps sure come in handy:

Made to match our party decor and just a piece of tape away from covering the logo on any bottle, they’re cute, functional, and solve that whole “no drink really goes with this party” problem!

If you haven’t yet entered to win a free digital “you print” invite good for any party in our shop all you have to do is leave a comment on any post this week and you’re in.  Get back here tomorrow where we’ll be talking fun favors and activities for Owl Party Week.

As mentioned yesterday we have a few boy and girl friendly owl party packages to choose from, but as for customer photos, today we want to focus on our Neeley Owl Package.

We love the deep pinks, oranges and teal contrasting with brown in this party and Berkley’s mom ran with the scheme splendidly!

Our POP door sign welcoming guests.

Delightful decor complete with our 3 length banner, dangles and poms like these.

The most darling table display, gotta love that fondant owl cake!

Can’t forget about the sweets, including our super sweet cupcake toppers!

And of course some party coordinated cutlery care of Party on Purpose to finish things off!

Thanks so much to Berkley’s mom for sharing these photos, you sure make us look good!  If you’re interested in this owl party or any owl party package in our shop leave us a convo and we’ll get your custom order going for you in no time.  Stay tuned tomorrow where we’ll be talking food and drink ideas for the Owl Party and be sure to leave a comment on any post in this week in ordered to be entered to win a free digital “you print” invite good for any party in our shop!

owl parties
A while back our friends over in Portlandia gave us an idea…

Put a bird on it!  Is it just us or is this so spot on?  Take an average tote, throw a bird on it, and you’ve got yourself a delicious carrier pigeon number:
We took this theory of putting a bird on it, applied it to party making, and SLAM two of our top sellers were created.  The bird party and this week’s feature, the OWL PARTY:

Who knew this little creature:
Could bring such joy to your children.

Stay tuned all week as we discuss a few of our different owl party themes (both boy and girl friendly) and all the owl-tastic ways you can use this goofy bird to make your little one’s special day fun!  We’re also giving away a free digital “you print” invite good for any party in our shop and all you have to do to enter to win is leave a comment on any post this week.  Good Luck!
