As we inch ourselves away from our winter party themes and… (gasp!)… into spring, we think this Cherry Blossom Party is a happy medium between the two.  We love the mix of spring’s nature along with the cool winter colors.  Here’s hoping you’ll be pleasantly surprised the inspiration these flowers:

penguin party ideas

Penguin Party Week is coming to a close, Christmas is just a couple days away and 2013 is about to begin.  Why do things have to change!?  We’ve had so much fun chatting with ya’ll about these waddling weirdos and not only does Penguin Party Week mark our last week of blogging for 2012 (we’re taking a week break, hope you can handle it ;) ), but it marks our last “winter” party we’ll be featuring this year.

We wish you all a very happy holiday and even happier new year.  Hopefully winning this week’s digital invite giveaway, (CONGRATS Kristen Coral), will kick one of our readers new year off right!  We’ve got some amazing news to share with you in 2013 and we hope you’ll all come back here to check it out!

We had some pretty adorable Pink Penguin Party food and drink ideas featured during Pink Penguin Party week and they’re worth hopping over to look at again (in our humble opinion), including cozy food in the form of grilled cheese and a couple of soups:

But in an effort to give you some original ideas as well this week we’ve got a couple adorable nibbles:

and sweet treats:

to choose from!  Don’t limit yourself to food that looks like penguins, we love the idea of using igloos and fish to expand upon your Penguin Party menu.

Guests can steal our idea from Pink Penguin Party Week and offer a delicious hot cocoa bar or wash it all down with a personalized penguin water bottle:

Similar to most of the winter party themes we’ve featured this winter season, we’re loving the Christmas Tree Party Theme because it’s so darn festive and all of these winter themes work really well together.  There’s no reason why you can’t use the super adorable snowman milk jugs we talked about during Snowgirl Party Week, along with the Dasher’s Donuts from Reindeer Party Week and snowflake cookies from our Winter Wonderland Party Week all at your Christmas Tree Party:

However, that’s not to say we don’t have a bunch of Christmas Tree specific food and drink ideas!!  We’ll kick things off with food in the shape of Christmas trees… it never ceases to amaze us how darn creative people are:

If this doesn’t make you feel pretty darn confident that you can put nearly any food platter into the shape of a tree, I don’t know what will!

Sweets are certainly no exception:

The rice  rice krispie tree-t‘s might just be our favorite!

For a festive drink we stumbled upon this “ Grinch Punch” and fell in love.  You can even call it “Pine Needle Punch” if you want to keep with the tree theme.

We’re gonna go ahead and call it adorable.

For favor and activity ideas featuring the Christmas Tree Party get back here tomorrow and if you’d like to win a digital “you print” invite good for any party in our shop, leave a comment on any post this week and you’re in!

We’re pretty thrilled to be talking about our Christmas Tree Party this week.  You can’t get much more festive than the Christmas Tree… well I guess you COULD get more festive…:

All I gotta say is why I don’t own this hat is evidence that the world is just plain not fair and it’s really cramping my “more festive than a Christmas tree” style.

If Santa knew what was good for him, this would be under my tree this year.

For more festive fun stick with us this week.  We’ll be talking all about the festive fun Christmas tree party and all of the festivities that go with it as well as giving away a digital “you print” invite good for any party in our shop!  Just leave a comment on any post this week and you’re in.  Stay tuned!!
